Dear 710 Coalition Members:
The City of Diamond Bar supports the 710 Coalition's effort to complete the
vital missing 1-710 north/south connector.
The City of Diamond Bar supports the completion of the missing 1-710
corridor link in order to complete the freeway network in our region and a
more efficient transportation system. Completion of this vital connector will
reduce traffic congestion and cut through trips throughout area
neighborhoods and benefit the local and regional economy.
We understand significant discussion continues regarding a decision to
construct a surface or tunnel route extension. The City of Diamond Bar
supports the inclusion of all affected stakeholders in the decision making
process and careful consideration of all impacts to adjacent affected
communities.
For these important reasons, the City of Diamond Bar supports the 710
Coalition's efforts to complete a north/south connector.
