HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 89-72RESOLUTION NO. 89-72 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR APPOINTING DONALD J. HENSLEY TO THE POSITION OF SUPERINTENDENT OF PARKS AND MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, on April 18, 1989 the City of Diamond Bar was incorporated, and WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar to appoint a Superintendent of Parks and Maintenance, and WHEREAS, the City has properly advertised and recruited for the position of Superintendent of Parks and Maintenance and held the appropriate interviews with qualified candidates, and WHEREAS, during the course of said recruitment and interviews, a fully qualified candidate was chosen as most suitable for the position, WHEREAS, said candidate has indicated his ability and willingness to serve the City of Diamond Bar in the capacity of i Superintendent of Parks and Maintenance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That DONALD J. HENSLEY be appointed Superintendent of Parks and Maintenance for the City of Diamond Bar effective September 11, 1989 2. That his salary be set at $2,938 per month, and 3. That benefits be equal to those provided to all Management employees in the City of Diamond Bar.
