RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES, TO JOIN THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE
MEDICAL AND HOSPITAL ACT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Diamond Bar was incorporated
April 18, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the City will need to provide Health and
Medical benefits to its employees
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that
1. The City Council requests authorization to join
the Public Employee Retirement Systems and
2. Authorization to participate in the Public
Employees Medical and Hospital Act Program
3. Authorize the Mayor to execute contracts with
the Public Employment Retirement System.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of
June , 1989.

Diamond Bar, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Diamond Bar held on the 13th day of June , 1989,
and was finally passed at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Diamond Bar held on the 13th day of June
1989, by the following vote:
