A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS
TO COMPLETE TRANSFER OF COUNTY PARKS WITHIN
DIAMOND BAR TO THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR
WHEREAS, the City of Diamond Bar was incorporated
April 18, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the City of Diamond Bar contracted interim
municipal services with the County of Los Angeles through June
30, 1989 as provided by the appropriate statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Diamond Bar desires to continue
contracting with the County of Los Angeles for specific
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
sign any and all documents necessary to complete the transfer
of the County Parks within Diamond Bar to the City of Diamond
Bar.
2. That the City Manager be authorized to execute
all documents necessary to complete the transfer of the
following parks:
a. Heritage Park
b. Maple Hill Park
C. Peterson Park
d. Ronald Reagan Park
e. Starshine Park
f. Summit Ridge Park
g. Sycamore Canyon Park
h. Pantera Park
i. Larkstone Park
3. The City Manager is authorized to make
reasonable modifications in the final contracts if necessary.

Diamond Bar, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the

and was finally passed at a regular meeting of the City Council

1989, by the following vote:
