A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DIAMOND BAR APPOINTING A CITY CLERK AND CITY TREASURER
A. Recitals.
(i) The California Government Code requires the City
to appoint both a City Clerk and a City Treasurer.
(ii) The City Council desires to appoint ROBERT L.
VAN NORT as City Clerk and City Treasurer to ensure the
efficient operation of the City Government.
(iii) All legal prerequisites to the adoption of this
Resolution have occurred.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Diamond Bar as follows:
1. In all respects as set forth in the Recitals,
Part A, of this Resolution.
2. ROBERT L. VAN NORT hereby is appointed City
Clerk and the City Treasurer of the City of Diamond Bar.
3. The City Clerk and the City Treasurer may
appoint such deputies as are deemed necessary and convenient
for the efficient operation of the City, subject to the
approval, by minute action, of the City Council.
4. The City Clerk and the City Treasurer may
delegate such duties and responsibilities as are deemed
appropriate to any deputy appointed thereby, subject to
approval, by minute action, of the City Council.
5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th , day of June. 1989.

of Diamond Bar, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Diamond Bar held on the 6th , day of .1inP
1989, and was finally passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Diamond Bar held on the 6th day of
June 1989, by the following vote:
