A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DIAMOND BAR APPROVING AND RATIFYING
POLICIES OF MUNICIPAL LIABILITY INSURANCE.
A. Recitals.
(i) The City of Diamond Bar was incorporated on
April 18, 1989 as a general law city.
(ii) The City has received quotes for liability
insurance, effective April 18, 1989.
(iii) It is prudent for the City to be insured for
liability claims.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DIAMOND BAR DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk hereby are authorized and
directed to execute any and all documents necessary to effect the
placement of municipal liability insurance with Planet Insurance
Company on the terms and conditions set forth by Planet Insurance
Company through its brokers.
2. Any and all actions taken by the Mayor and City
Clerk to bind said insurance on behalf of the City hereby are
ratified.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.

Diamond Bar, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Diamond Bar held on the 25 day of April , 1989, and
was finally passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Diamond Bar held on the 25 day of April ,
1989, by the following vote:
