A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DIAMOND BAR, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
FOR STATE ADMINISTRATION OF LOCAL SALES AND
USE TAXES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND
BAR.
A. ReCitals.
(i) The City Council has adopted a Uniform Local Sales
and Use Tax Ordinance. Pursuant to said Ordinance, the City
shall contract with the State Board of Equalization to perform
all functions incident to the administration and operation of
such sales and use tax ordinance.
(ii) Attached hereto, marked as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by this reference, is a full, true and
correct copy of an "Agreement for State Administration of Local
Sales and Use Taxes"; and,
(iii) All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of
this Resolution have occurred.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby found, determined and
resolved by the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar as
follows:
1. In all respects as set forth in the Recitals, Part
A, of this Resolution.
2. The City Council hereby approves the Agreement for
State Administration of Local Sales and Use Taxes, attached

hereto as Exhibit "A", and hereby authorizies the Mayor to
execute the same on behalf of the City of Diamond Bar.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Diamond Bar held on the 18th day of April, 1989, and was
finally passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Diamond Bar held on the 18th day of April, 1989, by the
