A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DIAMOND BAR REQUESTING CONTINUATION OF
SERVICES BY THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.
A. Recitals.
(i) The City of Diamond Bar was incorporated on
April 18, 1989 as a general law city of the State of California.
(ii) Section 34333 of the Government Code of the State
of California provides for the continuation of services by the
County to the area of the County which is now the City of
Diamond Bar.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DIAMOND BAR RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles is hereby requested to continue to furnish to the City of
Diamond Bar all services furnished prior to incorporation to the
area of the County which is now the City of Diamond Bar. It is
further requested that said services be furnished for the
remainder of the current fiscal year or until the City Council
requests discontinuance of a service or services, which first
occurs.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk hereby are authorized and
directed to execute those certain agreements, attached hereto as
Exhibits "A" through "K," inclusive, to provide such services to

the City of Diamond Bar by the County of Los Angeles. Said
agreements are identified as follows:
(a) General Services Agreement;
(b) Animal Control Services Agreement;
(c) Agreement for Fire Protection Services;
(d) Agreement for Maintenance of Traffic
Signal and Highway Safety Lighting;
(e) Agreement for Examination of Tract Maps
and Parcel Maps;
(f) Agreement Regarding Industrial Waste;
(g) Agreement Regarding Building Inspection
Services;
(h) Agreement Regarding Paratransit Services;
(i) Agreement for Planning Advisor Services;
(j) Agreement for Law Enforcement Services; and
(k) Assumption of Liability Agreement.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18th day of April, 1989.

Diamond Bar, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Diamond Bar held on the 18th day of April, 1989, and was
finally passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Diamond Bar held on the 18th day of April, 1989, by the
following vote:
