HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 89-18RESOLUTION NO. 89-18 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR REQUESTING THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE CITY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the City of Diamond Bar is newly incorporated and the consideration and decision on the question of the method of providing local law enforcement will require lengthy study and negotiations; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. The California Highway Patrol is respectfully requested to continue to furnish traffic enforcement within the recently incorporated City of Diamond Bar through the end of fiscal year 1988-89. 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
