A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DIAMOND BAR APPOINTING AN ACTING
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS, ACTING CITY
ENGINEER AND ACTING CITY PLANNING DIRECTOR.
A. Recitals.
(i) The City of Diamond Bar was incorporated on
April 18, 1989 as a general law city of the State of California;
and
(ii) It is necessary that an Acting Superintendent of
Streets, an Acting City Engineer and an Acting City Planning
Director be appointed immediately in order that the affairs of
the City may be properly administered.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND
BAR DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
1. The County Road Commissioner of the County of
Los Angeles, or his designated and qualified representative, is
hereby appointed Acting Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Diamond Bar.
2. The County Road Commissioner of the County of
Los Angeles, or his designated and qualified representative, is
hereby appointed Acting City Engineer of the City of Diamond Bar.
3. The Director of Planning of the County of
Los Angeles, or his designated and qualified representative, is

hereby appointed Acting Planning Director of the City of
Diamond Bar.
4. Each of the officers above appointed shall serve
at the pleasure of the City Council.
5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18th day of April, 1989.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Diamond Bar held on the 18th day of April, 1989, and was
finally passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Diamond Bar held on the 18th day of April, 1989, by the
following vote:

MILLER and FORBING
