Part of the permit process requires c� building & safety inspector from your city to inspect the work performed upon ,. completion. A f nal inspection and approval must be obtained within 6-months or the pet�mit will expire, incurring additional costs. � � In order to satisfy the California Title 24 energy requirement, a 3rd party (H.E.R.S. Rater) audit of your HVAC duct system has to be performed. You will be notified after the completion of your installation, to perform the audit. After this audit is corrapleted, you will receive the CF4R & CF6R f'orms, that are.required for your.city inspection. � � Do not�chedule your city inspection, until you receive these forms, as they must be seen by the city inspector. In order to schedule a building & safety inspector to your home, you will need to call the inspection request line for your city and request an inspection of the work performed. You will need to make arrangerrrents to have someone home between the scheduled time windows in which the city inspector'`is available. In addition, the area in which the work was performed will need to be accessible to the inspector at the time of inspection. (If the equipment is located in the attic, a 6ft. stepladder will need to be made available to the inspector in order to access the attic). Y , It is important to call for inspection within the time prescribed by the municipality. In the event, any corrections are noted by the Inspector, Fisher Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. will make the necessarv corrections, as long as it pertains to the work we performed. We will not be responsible ,for any existing code violations or pre-existing conditions not included in our contract. Any addition�l work required, will be the owner's responsibility.
