I have reviewed the footing excavations and reinforcing bars. All footings and reinforcing bars have
been place in conformance with the construction documents and any additional information that
was provided due to discrepancies to the as built conditions discovered in the field.
There are new fill footings at the front of the house that replace the existing condition where the
wall was bearing on slab only. The existing footing for the fireplace is more than sufficient for the
new loads. The new footings have been doweled into the existing fireplace to limit differential
movement. The existing pad footing in the garage is adequate for the new loads.
There are no deficiencies and, in my opinion, the concrete may be poured.
