I am interested in the Parks & Recreation Commission position because of my
interest in continuing to give back and improve a program that has given me so much joy. Living in Diamond Bar for most of my life, I had never
fully appreciated what made Diamond Bar so special until the past 5 years. All the little things Diamond Bar has provided to me such as its safety, cleanliness,
community togetherness, and its vast recreations. From spending countless hours at Pantera Park playing basketball with friends till the lights went out,
enjoying the beautiful Sycamore Canyon and Steep Canyon Trail, and the many classes offered by Diamond Bar. Living in any other city I would not have been
afforded the opportunities to freely enjoy all these activities. I would love to make a contribution and continue improving on an already great program.
My major qualifications for the Parks & Recreations Commission position
would be my background in working as an engineer. I am trained to to look at projects with a critical eye and find solutions based on the data
and the greater good for our stakeholders. Working as Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Development Engineer. (CONTINUED)
