Dear County Supervisors, State Representatives, and City Officials,
Please include this message in the official record regarding the proposed Puente Hills Mall data center and the Marici Battery Energy Storage System project.
As a Diamond Bar resident, I am concerned about the potential environmental impacts, fire safety risks, radiation risks, and the lack of transparency surrounding these proposals. Large
battery storage facilities and energy-intensive data centers could pose serious risks to nearby communities, air quality, and surrounding parklands.
I urge that no approvals move forward without a full Environmental Impact Report (EIR) evaluating all proposed data center and battery storage projects in the City of Industry. Our communities
deserve transparency and meaningful public review before projects of this scale proceed.
