Hello Sandy,
I am reaching out to express deep concern over the proposed closure and consolidation of Armstrong Elementary School with Golden Springs Elementary, as recommended by Superintendent
Knowles of Pomona Unified School District (PUSD). Armstrong has long been a cornerstone of our community, providing quality education and shaping generations of students. Closing its
doors without proper community input and an updated assessment would be a disservice to the families and students who depend on this institution.
We respectfully request your support in ensuring transparency and community involvement in this decision. If possible, we would appreciate your assistance in bringing this matter to
the mayor’s attention or connecting us with the appropriate contacts who can work with us on alternative solutions.
Please let us know how we can collaborate to protect the future of Armstrong Elementary.
Attached is a letter with additional information.
Regards,
Adair Balandran
