Please pass the information along to others who may be interested and not included in the email. 1. Environmental Resources for Students and Educators We invite you to explore our Environmental Resources for Students and Educators page. It includes free, ready-to-use tools and materials that support classroom learning in areas such as recycling, sustainability, and conservation. If you have suggestions for additional content or resources, we’d love to hear your input as we continue to grow and improve this offering. Explore the resources here: Student and Educator Resources 2. New Classroom Program: Worms for a Week We’re excited to launch Worms for a Week, a fun, hands-on program that brings vermicomposting into the classroom. City staff will deliver a live, active composting bin and pick it up in a week. It’s a simple and engaging way to introduce students to composting, sustainability, and life science through direct observation. Request the bin for your classroom here: Worms for a Week Request Form 3. Feedback Request: Discovery Cube & Algalita Pilot We’re also gathering feedback on our long-standing partnership with the Discovery Cube and exploring interest in a possible pilot program with Algalita, an environmental organization focused on plastic pollution education. Your input is valuable and will help guide future programming. Please complete this brief survey by June 13: Feedback Survey Thank you for your continued partnership in promoting environmental education. We appreciate your time, feedback, and dedication to inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.
