Page 3 of 4 Outreach Activities: In February of 2023, Abound Food Care focused our efforts on coordinating outreach to the identified non-participating Tier 1 generators. This included virtual touchpoints including email and phone calls that included information on how to begin their food donation efforts. These touchpoints were as follows: 1. We reached out to Norma at Diamond Fresh to see if they have gone over the template agreement that we sent over to her. She said she didn’t receive the email with the template attached. She gave us another email that was different from what we had, and we sent it over again and she confirmed she got it. We will follow up again in March if we don’t hear back from her. 2. We followed up with Martin at Market World and the number we have was disconnected. We sent a follow up email because we have noticed he is still not signed up on Chow Match yet. If we don’t get a response from him, we will follow up in-person in March. 3. We reached back out to Super H Mart but have not received a call back. We sent out a follow up email as well to see if he has received any guidance from his head quarters on getting into a donation program. We will follow up in person if we are unable to get in touch. We will continue our outreach to the non-participating Tier 1 generators and continue to offer our support in getting them in compliance with the requirements of SB1383. We will be reaching out to the Tier 1 generators who are participating to ensure their donation pick ups are going well and to let them know if they need any additional assistance to let us know and we would be happy to help. While we are waiting for our marketing department to finish up the mailer for the Tier 2 generators, we are going to begin our outreach with phone calls and emails. We will follow up our phone calls and our emails with the mailer for the Tier 2 generators. We reached out to Norma at Diamond Fresh for their total pounds, but we have not heard back yet. We did call and was told that she was out of town so hopefully we receive them when she gets back. When we receive them we will add them into the March report. We have not yet received the pounds for February from Albertsons so we will add them in the report for March.
