Page 3 of 4 Outreach Activities: In November of 2023, Abound Food Care focused our efforts on coordinating outreach to the identified non-participating Tier 1 and Tier 2 generators. This included virtual touchpoints including email, and phone calls that included information on how to begin their food donation efforts. These touchpoints were as follows: 1. We tried reaching out to Temo at Diamond Fresh to follow up with him and see if he was able to start tracking their pounds in November, but he was not in when we called. They have their agreement onsite so once we can verify that they are now tracking their pounds donated as well, they will be fully compliant. We will reach back out in December if we don’t hear from him before then. 2. We spoke with Wyatt at Chili’s but unfortunately Vanity was not there when we called. She is the general manager at this location, and we were told this is who we need to speak with regarding this matter. We will continue to reach out to Vanity so we can discuss the edible food requirements of SB1383 and go over how we can help with getting them into a compliant program if they are not currently in one. 3. Jay, who is from the corporate office of H Mart reached out and wanted to know more about the state regulations. We have a meeting set to discuss the requirements of SB1383 for the first week of December. We will also go over Chow Match and how the program works and what the next steps moving forward will be. 4. We will be stopping at Target to conduct their inspection as we have not been able to get in contact with anyone at the location to schedule their inspection. We will continue our outreach to the non-participating Tier 1 and Tier 2 generators and continue to offer our support in getting them in compliance with the requirements of SB1383.
