Professional On-Call Civil Engineering and Architectural Services
Response File for: ALL SERVICES
City’s RFP Section Titled “PROPOSAL CONTENT AND FORMAT, Subsection 4. FEE SCHEDULE” requires the
following:”
Provide the hourly rates of all personnel assigned to the contract. These rates may be used for time and
material tasks for Land Development Projects.
Consultant fees for improvement plan check and inspection services will be subject to 82% of the
applicable fees as established in the City’s current Public Works Fee Schedule (Attachment 2). It should
be assumed that, on average, the fees will cover up to three (3) plan checks and inspections. It can be
anticipated that the City will annually adjust the Public Works Fee Schedule by the Consumer Price Index
for the region. Therefore, Consultant fees for these services will be adjusted in accordance with the
change to the Public Works Fee Schedule.
All other tasks under General Services will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis using the hourly rates
provided for personnel assigned to the contract. Each specific assignment under an on-call engineering
services contract will be compensated on either lump sum or time-and-materials basis. The method of
compensation will be specified in writing by the City at the time the assignment is given.

SCHEDULE OF HOURLY RATES
Effective through June 30, 2026
Rates are average ranges, negotiable and can be adjusted to establish a fee for each assignment based on the specific project’s scope,
when such projects are identified by the City.
The above fees are increased each year July 1st automatically by the percentage change Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim California Consumer
Price Index-All Urban Consumers (“CPI-U”) for the preceding twelve-month period as calculated for February by the U.S. Department of Labor
Bureau of Labor Statistics and published by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistic.
