Irvine Great Park Concession Stands:The City of Irvine contracted with IDS to upgrade their four (4) exisƟ ng
Orange County Great Park Sports Park Concessions FaciliƟ es. IDS performed interior funcƟ onal upgrades with
a concept design which includes outdoor areas for barbecues with architectural shade covers in line with the
exisƟ ng design. Each concession stand requires new kitchen equipment along with mechanical, plumbing,
and electrical upgrades. This project was an exercise in coordinaƟ on and creaƟ vity to fi t all desired program
elements into exisƟ ng spaces.

IDS provided architectural-engineering design services for a City of Irvine Photovoltaic Infrastructure Development in a
parking lot located at the Great Park.
A preliminary photovoltaic (PV) shade structure design study was completed with a rough order of magnitude esƟ mate.
The design was based upon an a future recreaƟ onal water park and electrical vehicle charging power. The photovoltaic
analysis and infrastructure development was a well-coordinated eff ort between the City of Irvine Great Park project
management team and IDS.
The infrastructure design included underground conduits; intercept pull boxes with heavy duty traffi c covers and conduit
stub up locaƟ ons at a predetermined locaƟ on of electrical distribuƟ on equipment. The infrastructure design was sized
appropriately from PV usage assumpƟ ons.

City of Glendora | Finkbiner Park, Glendora, CA
IDS Group provided design and construction review for the installation of a modular Restroom and Community Room Building located at Finkbiner Park in the City of Glendora. Construction
required the demolition of a single-family home and detached garage.
The site work included grading on Cullen Street, where the park is located. The adjoining curbs/gutters, sidewalks, and storm drains were protected and/or repaired as necessary. Drainage
studies, erosion control plans, and water quality studies were also prepared for the project.
Design and construction drawings for utility connections to the modular building including, phone and data, were required. The facility required compliance with building codes and path of
travel connections per the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) law as set forth in the California Building Code (CBC).

City of Murrieta | Town Square Park, Murrieta, CA
As part of a parks and recreation and public works improvement project, the City of Murrieta (City) retained IDS for architectural and engineering services to design three (3) prefabricated
buildings (storage, performers changing rooms, and restrooms) along with utility service connections. Scope of work included an amphitheater structure over the existing performance stage
and installation of a light and sound system. IDS outlined a technology plan that implemented Wi-Fi access throughout the park . Replacement and upgrades to the existing light fixtures
around the park, rehabilitation of an existing well, installation of a pump, and a distributed irrigation system for the park were also completed for this project.
The City of Murrieta desired to implement a comprehensive set of plans and specifications to build the new amphitheater structure. Town Square Park amenities featured lighting, sound
systems, security systems, wireless communication systems, foundations for the prefabricated buildings, lighting along the walkways of the park, the renovation of the existing well, and
landscape improvements. This project was a well-coordinated effort among IDS’ in-house A/E design team (architecture, structural, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering).
