SSNW patrols ferry pedestrian terminals with armed officers when law enforcement is unavailable. In Spokane, SSNW is the primary security overwatch presence for the widely publicized Camp Hope transient camp along I-90. SSNW has been a preferred vendor for Ignition Northwest events across Western Washington. Events include SeaCompression, Ignition Northwest, and Critical Northwest. Ignition Northwest focuses on providing unique and artistic parties, many of which are official Burning Man regional events. WA DCYF has utilized SSNW over the past two years for multiple specialized missions, including rehabilitation camp security and safe house/hotel security for displaced children. These services require high interpersonal and de-escalation skills not common to routine security patrols. We understand the City’s need for professional Unarmed security services to be provided at various events held at City facilities. Thanks to our established infrastructure in the greater Los Angeles area, providing coverage for these events will be a simple task for SSNW. All our Officers are BSIS-certified and will be required to read and acknowledge all event post orders before being assigned. While on duty, they will be supported by our Scheduling and Dispatch teams, ensuring smooth communication and rapid resolutions to problems that may arise. 4.COST PROPOSAL. The following rates are all-inclusive. Per the RFP's wording, an Overtime (OT) shift is considered an 8½ hours or longer shift. Overtime/holiday pay is billed at x1.5. Overtime and holiday rate multipliers do not stack. RATE TYPE STANDARD RATE OT/HOLIDAY RATE Unarmed Officer $60.00/hr. $90.00/HR. ADDITIONAL TERMS: a.Terms billed weekly, net 30. b.All shifts have a 6-hour billing minimum. c.Service canceled within 24 hours will be billed. d.The Holiday Hourly Rate will be charged for services that are provided on the following state-recognized holidays: https://www.calhr.ca.gov/employees/Pages/state- holidays.aspx e.Additional service requests within 48 hours will be billed 1.5x for the first 48 hours. f.If free onsite parking or validation is not provided for officers, the City shall pay for daily parking. g.If customer requires SSNW to be enrolled in a vendor program, customer shall be invoiced for the fees associated. 5.INSURANCE. SSNW possesses the insurance coverage required for this contract, and understands that meeting these requirements is a prerequisite for entering into an agreement with Diamond Bar. 6.INSURANCE.
