To Whom It May Concern:
On 5/8/25 and 5/9/25 unlicensed work was done at our unit by Interbranch Inc., d/b/a Clover Realty. The LA County
Health Dept cited the property manager and owners for a leaking living ceiling, mold in the kitchen and garage,
faulty electrical wiring, etc. We asked for the property manager to contact the city to pull permits and use a licensed
plumber, but our requests were denied, by Adam Freilich property manager. Instead he and his unlicensed
handyman began opening the ceiling and walls investigating for the water leak. An inspector Jose Mejia from the
AQMD cited Adam for not having tested the site for asbestos prior to commencing work. Inspector Mejia ordered
Adam and the handyman to stop all work immediately. While Adam was being cited his handyman continued to
patch up the wall and gather the debris/evidence. When inspector Mejia heard the shop vac being used to vacuum up
the dust, he ordered the handyman to stop! Adam gathered up the debris/evidence and proceeded to leave the
property. We all shouted to him to stop, but he refused. The inspector told Adam that he is documenting in the report
Adam’s non-compliance. As Adam exited unit to store the debris/evidence in his car he flipped us off. Now our
home has open holes in the living room ceiling and popcorn ceiling dust throughout the unit. Here is the AQMD
inspector’s business card. We will be waiting for the CAC to investigate our property.
Sincerely,
The Garispe Family
