Thank you and your team for working with the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to complete the tasks outlined in the City of Diamond Bar
(Jurisdiction) SB 619 Corrective Action Plan (CAP). This letter serves to inform you that the final dates in the Jurisdiction’s CAP have passed, and the oversight period has concluded. If you have any additional documentation that supports the completion of tasks in your
CAP that was not previously provided to the Jurisdiction and Agency Compliance and Enforcement (JACE) staff, then please provide those documents to your current JACE representative by January 27, 2025.
Please note that all jurisdictions are subject to an evaluation pursuant to Section
18996.1 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations. JACE staff will reach out to
you within the next 12 months to schedule an evaluation. Once the Jurisdiction’s evaluation is initiated, JACE staff will request the Jurisdiction’s SB 1383 Implementation Record, which should include but not be limited to all records generated through the previous CAP oversight period. The evaluation will include findings specific to the
previous CAP implementation. An evaluation may include field visits, inspections by
JACE staff, and requests for additional supporting documentation. Local Assistance and Market Development (LAMD) staff are available to assist you with understanding the requirements of an evaluation as well as Implementation Recordkeeping.
