HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe Questions for City of Diamond BarHello Ryan, A TUT of 1% would not double the total. In speaking with HdL it would be around 5.0-5.4million. This is because TUT would have zero impact on Greybar or the pool. It would help with auto purchases by residents because it follows the point of delivery. It wouldn’t help increase the state pool bc it’s based on taxable sales but would bring in TUT for online purchase delivered to DB even where Bradley Burns goes to the pool. He’s going to prepare an updated study for us. His estimated amount above is based on back of the envelope updates to the one he gave us a few years ago. We will have a better estimate when he’s done with a full report in a couple weeks. Jason Jason M. Earlier today, Richard sent me some questions/points to get the ball rolling on the content of the survey. Given the limited time before the meeting, I’ve started work here so Richard has a starting point. We will discuss these items at the meeting and you will all have an opportunity to participate. That said, please review the attachment and provide me with your feedback or be prepared to discuss in the meeting in greater detail. This feedback may include additions, deletions or edits to my initial work, and other ideas relevant to the process and the City’s current standing and future. I look forward working on this with you on Wednesday. Ryan
