The technician from GMI was hired by the contractor to conduct compaction tests on the A.C. • Black Gold oil truck sprayed oil on all grinded A.C prior to paving • Black gold sand truck sprayed sand on all new asphalt to minimize tracking. Materials Placed/Quantities Measured: • ONYX paving crew placed 1469.54 tons of A.C on Grand Avenue using mix design ARHM – GG – C ½” PG 64- 16. Per approved plan. • American Asphalt South, Inc. Slurry seal crew placed 187,207 square foot of Type 2 slurry seal on various streets. • The grinding crew grinded 135,660 square feet of A.C on Copley Dr and Gateway Center Drive. Sub-Contractors/Sub-Consultants Activities: • Pavement rehab grinding crew grinded 2" of A.C on Copley Drive and Gateway Center Drive using a 7’ wide grinder and a mini grinder. Approximately 135,66o square feet were completed. • A sweeper was at the job site all day cleaning up the job site and a water Truck was at the job site spraying the grinded street to minimize the dust. • American Asphalt crew laid out Type 2 slurry seal on the following streets. • Hawkwood Dr from Ambushers St to cul-de-sac • Banbrook Ln from Hawkwood Dr to Falcon Ridge Rd • Fallow Field Dr from Brea Canyon to E Malad Ct • Sugar Pine Pl from Diamond Bar Blvd to Slurry Limit • Crooked Creek Dr from Golden Run Dr to Ambushers St • Flap Jack Dr from Crooked Creek Dr to cul-de-sac • Chirping Sparrow Rd from Hawkwood Dr to Calmbrook Ln. • Hipass Dr from Castle Rock Rd to cul-de-sac Traffic Control: • The contractor placed traffic control per approved plan. They placed road construction signs, arrow boards and cones throughout the project in the vicinity of the construction zone. The contractor provided flagmen throughout the project as needed.
