Hello Areas C & D Partners,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Jeremy Gillette-Newman and I am the Disaster Program Manager with the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, serving the San Gabriel & Pomona
Valleys Chapter. I would like to take a moment to check in with you, and provide some important updates from the Red Cross.
First off, thank you very much for your partnership with the American Red Cross. If you need to reach me, please either email me at jeremy.gillettenewm2@redcross.org <mailto:jeremy.gillettenewm2@redc

1. LA County Wildfire Response Operation
The Red Cross Los Angeles Region, with support from the Division and National team, we have more than 1000 Red Cross workers within the Los Angeles County and from across the country
on the ground, working closely with our partners to ensure that no one faces this difficult time alone. We also have thousands more community volunteers who have signed up to assist
their community. We are still in the early days of this significant response, with our services focused on food, shelter, emotional support, and much more.
Regardless of someone’s background or circumstances, no one will be turned away. EVERYONE IS WELCOME in our shelters. Our mission is to provide compassionate care without barriers —
we do not ask for identification, and assistance is available regardless of whether someone stays overnight.
As of yesterday morning, we have approximately 900 evacuees in 7 Red Cross shelters across the county, including: (Find a Shelter | Red Cross <https://www.redcross.org/get-help/disaster-relief-and-re
