CALL T� ORDER:
Chair Quan called the Parks and Recreatian Commissian meeting ta order at 6:3D p.m.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Vice-Chair Wang led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL: Commission��s: Saman iV�ahmaod, Aaron S�lo, Brian Worthington,
Vice-Chair Andrew Wong, and Chair Cynthia Quan
Staff present In-Persan: Ryan V'Jright, Parks ar�d Recreation Director; Anthony Jo�dan,
Maintenance Superintender�t; Monique Weeks, Recreatian Caordinator; aobin
Crawfard, Administrative Coordir�ator
PUBLIC COMMENTS: Ste�e 7, Ken Dovangsitthi, Diego Navarrete, Judy Wang,
Michael Kua, Valerie Geddes Kerrof�an, and Derick Tom addressed the commissian
regarding Maple Hill pickieball cc�urts and improvements they would fike #o see such as
new wind screens, court resurfac:ing, additional gates, and additional multi-use caurts.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS: PRD Wright presented the Cafendar of Events
1, CCINSENT CALENDAR:
1.1 Approval of Minutes for the September 26, 2024 Regular Meeting:
Commissioner Wc>rthington moved; Commissianer Salo seconded to
appro�e the Regular Meeting Minutes of September 26, 2024. Motion
carried by #he fallowing Roll Call vote:

PRDIWright pres�nted the January Recreation Update and RCIWeeks
pra�ided an upciat� on special e�ents held over the fall and winter seasan,
2.2 JANUARY PARKS AND FAGILITIES MAINTENANCE REPORT:
MSIJordan provic�ed the report and respanded to Commissioners
questions and concerns.

PRD1VIlrigh# offered updates on the current Maple Hiil Park praject.
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Commissioner Warthington thanked the publie speakers
and asked staff about poten�ial pickleba{I enhancements. Vice-Chair Wong and
Chair Quar� thanked th� pub{ic speakers and said tf�ey would bring their comments
to the City Cauncil.
ADJ�URNMENT: With no one objecting and no further business befare the Parks and
Recrea#ion Commission, Chair Quan adjourned the meeting a# 7:25 p.m.to Thursday,
March 27, 2025 a#6:30 p.m.
