HomeMy WebLinkAboutDeMinimisWaiverApproval-Diamond_Bar_Medical_Center.pdf IMPORTANT NOTICE SB 1383 Waiver Request Official Approval of Your De Minimis Waiver Diamond Bar Business Owner or Property Manager: We are happy to inform you that your waiver request, exempting you from mandatory organic waste recycling, has been approved by the City of Diamond Bar. After reviewing your data and completing our audit and/or site visit, we have determined that your location falls within the waiver guidelines set forth in Public Resources Code (PRC) 18984.11. Therein SB 1383 regulations allow waivers to be granted to locations that dispose of 20-gallons or less per-week of organic waste. These are referred to as “de minimis” waivers and is the specific waiver type granted to you. As per section 18995.1 of the PRC, locations that are granted waivers will be exempt from mandatory organics recycling program requirements for a period of 5 years or until the qualifying exemption is no longer applicable or rescinded by the State. Herein is the City’s notice that your location must advise us of any change in your activities and/or operations that would cause this waiver to be non-applicable.
