Important Notice
Business Recycling and Diversion Program Assessment
Diamond Bar Business Owner or Property Manager,
Thank you for your ongoing efforts in recycling and waste diversion. As part of its diversion assessment, the City of Diamond Bar, through its designated partner, Valley Vista Services,
is conducting a review of additional recycling and diversion efforts by your business. This includes activities such as self-hauling, back-hauling, and any alternative recycling practices
your business regularly engages in to reduce waste. In some instances, a separate entity outside of Valley Vista Services, such as a landscaper, is providing this service.
The Valley Vista Services Sustainability Team will be your main point of contact during this review process. They will reach out to you to discuss your current business operations and
any waste reduction or recycling measures you undertake beyond collection services with Valley Vista Services. They may also request documentation, such as receipts, weight tickets
or agreements to support the assessment of your recycling and diversion efforts.
To streamline the process, Valley Vista Services developed a link to electronically submit responses to the recycling and diversion assessment. Please complete the survey and share any
relevant documentation by Saturday, October 26, 2024, or as soon as possible. A representative will follow up if further information is needed. If you have any questions about this
request or would like to clarify if your program qualifies as diversion, please do not hesitate to reach out to Valley Vista Services.
