The following steps describe how a complaint can submit a complaint regarding violations related to organics recycling and food donation. 1. Access the Report a Concern Portal The City of Diamond Bar’s "Report a Concern" portal is located here: https://www.diamondbarca.gov/883/Report-a-Concern. Complainant would initiate a report by entering the address where the violation occurred or use the interactive map to select the location. After confirming the location, they would click on “New Request” to proceed. Submitting an SB 1383 Complaint via the City of Diamond Bar’s Report a Concern Portal   2. Select the Appropriate Category On the following screen, the complainant will be prompted to choose a category for their complaint. From the dropdown menu, they would select “Organics Recycling & Food Donation Violations (SB1383)” to ensure your complaint is properly categorized. 3. Upload Supporting Evidence (Optional) The complainant has the option to upload photos that document the violation. If available, this evidence can help in the investigation and resolution of the complaint. Submitting an SB 1383 Complaint via the City of Diamond Bar’s Report a Concern Portal   4. Provide Details of the Complaint In this step, the complainant can describe the violation in detail. Choose Submission Method The complainant can submit the complaint anonymously or create an account to provide their contact information. Complaint Submission and Workflow After submitting the complaint, the City’s Environmental Services Team will receive an automated notification via email, which links them to the SeeClickFix staff portal. The complaint will then follow a pre-defined workflow within the system. If necessary, the complaint can be escalated to Code Enforcement using the “Assign” feature for further action.
