Subject: FW: Community Meeting
We are scheduling a virtual meeting for Wednesday at 1000 hours with city and county officials as well as community leaders, hosted by our Division Chief, Chief Valdez. Participants
for our meeting will include representatives from Walnut/Diamond Bar, San Dimas, Temple, Industry, Crescenta Valley, and Altadena. Our department is concerned about a Use of Force
Video that is soon to be released by the Memphis police department. The suspect in the video, Tyre Nichols, died from injuries he sustained.
It is believed this video will lead to possible protests against police departments. The Memphis video is expected to go public on Thursday. The conversation is a chance for you all
to ask questions and relay our LASD message to the community.
