Mr. Gaunt asked to reschedule the cleanup to next Monday 10/24. His contractor can’t make it this week and asked that he reschedule until Monday. Advising you all so you are aware.

I spoke with Mr. Gaunt, the owner of the private parcel in between SR-60 westbound offramp and the Weinerschnitzel. I mentioned to him the recent homeless activity and items that transients
are storing on his property. He mentioned his signed 602 on file, but I let him know that does not give us authority to remove any items on his property so that would be something
he would need to handle.
Mr. Gaunt typically cleans up his property twice per year. He will try to have someone out next Thursday or Friday. Would it be possible to have someone from Sheriff make contact with
those individuals next week (Monday or Tuesday) to provide them verbal notice that cleanup will take place later in the week? Once we get confirmation on the date of the cleanup I
will share with you and the Team in case Sheriff needs to be physically present during the cleanup.

Received a report of an encampment just north of the SR-60 DB Blvd exit, just as you make a right onto the blvd. Jorge took the following photos, which appear to be of items on the
Caltrans right of way, but a couple couches on the private hillside just on the other side of the fence. The area of the couches is on private property, and I wanted to know if you
have the contact information for that owner to notify them of the items on their property.
The owner does have no trespassing signs on the hillside lot they own, and I believe they also have letters of agency on file.
Please let me know if you can reach out to the owner. PW will contact Caltrans about the state right of way litter and debris.
