Here are updated notes on expected fire weather conditions through the middle of this week. ***ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS CONDITIONS THROUGH THIS EVENING OVER MOUNTAINS, DESERTS, AND INTERIOR VALLEYS DUE TO GUSTY ONSHORE WINDS, VERY WARM TEMPERATURES, AND LOW HUMIDITIES*** ***SLIGHT CHANCE OF MONSOONAL THUNDERSTORMS AFTERNOON HOURS ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY FOR THE EASTERN SAN GABRIELS AND EASTERN ANTELOPE VALLEY*** TODAY : * Winds: Southwest to West Gusts 25-35 mph across interior. * Winds strongest over Antelope Valley and adjacent foothills * Humidity: Minimums 8-20% mountains, deserts, and interior valleys. * Temperatures: Highs 90-103 most interior valleys, lower mountains, and deserts * Overnight lows: 60-70 common, except 70-75 common foothills and deserts. * High mixing heights 10,000-15,000 feet mountains & interior valleys. * Coastal sections: Highs 70-80.
