All,
The county of Los Angeles has launched a property damage surveys, to gather information from local residents that were impacted by the rain storms beginning late February and on. They
have provided a link which you should be able to add on to a city site or publish as needed, and encourage residents to complete.
This does not guarantee any assistance to the residents, as evaluations will still need to be determined based on insurance coverage and damage percentage of property. The information
will allow the state and FEMA to determine potential eligibility based on site visits.
Please see the email below from Deputy Director Leslie Luke.
Thank you.

Subject: Property Damages
All,
We will be initiating the County survey to collect damages in the OA from residents who have suffered property damages from the storms. Please inform your cities to provide the link
to their residents that have contacted them or will contact them for assistance. We are capturing information from all storms as the State is trying to combine all of the events.
There’s a slim chance we may be able to receive a SBA Declaration, but FEMA IA will be a long shot.
The message we will be putting out on social media is below and residents can also get there from the County’s webpage.
Los Angeles County residents are asked to submit information on property damages resulting from the February & March 2023 Storms.

Information will assist in understanding extent of local impacts & advocate on behalf for State & Federal assistance. This survey is not an application for financial assistance, nor
does it indicate that assistance is available currently or in the future.
