34th ANNIVERSARY OF INCORPORATION
As we enter the month of April, it is important to recognize that it is Autism Awareness Month. This is a time for us to come together as a community and increase our understanding and
support for individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Throughout this month, I encourage you to take part in events and activities that promote awareness
and acceptance of those who are on the spectrum. Let us work together to create a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
This April marks 34 years of cityhood for Diamond Bar! As we take this time to celebrate, let’s keep in mind how fortunate we are as residents and businesses to live and work in an exceptional
community. Our family-friendly atmosphere, well-maintained parks, trails and roads, top-rated school districts, and public safety services all contribute to keeping the City among
the most desirable and safest communities in the region.
In celebration, please join us in a fun month-long Windmill Hunt from April 1-30. Hunting takes place at your own pace throughout various City parks for windmill signs - make sure to
look at benches, buildings and near trails! We will also be offering a Coloring Contest for Diamond Bar residents age 12 and younger. All you have to do is download the coloring sheet,

Green living will take center stage at the City’s Earth Day Celebration happening Saturday, April 22. The event, which takes place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Coast Air Quality Management
District (AQMD) parking lot – 21865 Copley Drive, will feature a variety of recycling and conservation-focused stations, activities, and information and giveaway booths. For children
and youth in attendance, Discovery Cube will be on site with a fun, hands-on Earth Day-themed activity. Residents can take advantage of free document/paper shredding services, safely
