Last Friday I received a report from IBEW staff of an encampment in front of their offices. From what was reported, it appeared to be individuals or belongings in front of the building
both on City sidewalk right of way and private property. I confirmed with Sheriff they had received two calls, and they had put in a call for service. As of Monday morning 12/12,
IBEW confirmed there is no activity in front of their offices.
If you see any unsheltered persons or what looks like belongings being stored on public or Caltrans property in the area please let me know so I can advise LA CADA to make contact today.
The weather has not been good to be outdoors, and I’d like CADA to make an effort for rehousing if possible today.
