Good morning all,
This is just a reminder that Jan18, 2023 (tomorrow) is the last day that local governments will be able to proclaim a local emergency for the January 8, 2023 Rainstorms. Your proclamation
must be dated and signed by Jan 18, 2023 and must be received to the state by this date. If you have any questions for this rain storm incident, reach out to me via cell or email.
Now, we had two additional rainstorms over the weekend. That event is a separate event date and considered separate from the January 8th incident. If your local jurisdiction experienced
damages from this weekends rain events, you have 10 days from January 14, 2023 to proclaim a local emergency.
