Thank you City Officials, The California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR), in collaboration with the California Highway Patrol (CHP), will be conducting a roadside vehicle emissions survey on the following date(s) and location(s): Sites ID Team Zip Code Rank County City Last Date Scheduled Location CHP OFFICE 910 Jurupa 91765 MAIN LOS ANGELES DIAMOND BAR 09/06/2022 NB Golden Springs Dr. Between Racquet Club Rd and Sycamore Park 525 NOTE: If applicable, the required permit is attached. The Site ID and CHP OFFICE listed above refer, respectively, to BAR’s internal site location, the page and grid number on a Thomas Guide Map, and the designated CHP office assigned to that day’s survey. Survey Details and Confidentiality: * A section of the far right lane at the location(s) listed above will be closed from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. A survey lane diagram is attached for your reference. * The survey date(s) and location(s) is confidential information and is for official city and emergency services personnel use only. * The work zone speed limit may be reduced by 10 mph. Speed reduction justification is per California MUTCD CVC sections 22362 and 21367. Speed reduction signs will be posted within 400 ft of the work zone. An END WORK ZONE SPEED LIMIT (R2-12) sign may be installed at the end of the reduced speed limit zone. The regular speed limit signs may be covered during working hours if they are located within the warning signs for the work zone. * The survey is conducted for the express purpose of surveying the emissions of vehicles on California roadways to evaluate and improve the overall performance of California’s Smog Check Program. BAR is not affiliated with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or any government enforcement checkpoint.
