• Water flowing in normally dry washes, flood channels, and low water crossings mainly Wednesday into Friday
• Possible downed trees and scattered power outages Wednesday into Friday

Chance of showers linger Monday to Tuesday
Steady rain will develop by Wednesday and last to early Friday

Moderate to high confidence in the showers through Tuesday
Medium confidence on the timing of the strong midweek system
Monday night-Tuesday morning:

Wednesday into Friday
• Rain, heavy at times
• Strong and gusty winds
• Rain amounts 1.50-3.00”, locally 6.00” (mountains)
Mountain snow levels expected to be around 5000 -6000 feet today through Tuesday, then be at 7,500 feet or higher with the mid-week storm.

• Loose or unsecured objects may be blown away.

• Northwest wind gusts of 25 to 40 with gusts to 55 mph in the mountains and the Antelope Valley

• Powerful high surf on west facing beaches through Noon Monday
• There is an increased risk of ocean drowning due to strong rip currents

Today through Monday morning.

• Central Coast: 9-15 feet on west facing beaches
• Los Angeles and Ventura Counties: 6-9 feet (local sets to 10 feet near Ventura Harbor)

• Widespread Gales anticipated
• Potential breaking waves at Morro Bay/Port San Luis/Ventura Harbor entrances
