Law enforcement officers make traffic stops when they witness or suspect a driver or vehicle has committed or been involved in a traffic violation or criminal act. These interactions
are often inconvenient, can be stressful, and even cause anxiety in some people. The best way to get through the situation is to stay calm and maintain a courteous and respectful attitude.

Castle Rock Pump Station Repairs Completed
Los Angeles County Public Works shut down the pump station at 3108 Castle Rock Road this week for repairs. Public Works staff worked with truckers and transfer tanks staged on Castle
Rock/Cool Springs and Castle Rock/Silver Bullet during the operation. The County replaced a power house motor and a 12” ball valve on one of the pumps. All work was completed as planned.
There was no impact to nearby Castle Rock Elementary School as students are on spring break.

This April marks 34 years of cityhood for Diamond Bar, and the City is celebrating with a fun month-long Windmill Hunt. Hunting takes place at your own pace throughout various City parks

Youth Indoor Soccer Kicks Off!
The first games were held on Saturday, April 1 in the Mt. Calvary Lutheran School gymnasium. The program offers children ages 3-8 years an opportunity to play this fast-paced sport in
an instructional and recreational atmosphere. The program will conclude on May 20. Good luck to all the participants this season.

Multi-Sport Classes Start Next Week
A new round of Sportball classes begin on April 15 at Ronald Reagan Park. Pick from a variety of sports instruction, including golf, soccer, T-ball on either Saturday or Sunday mornings.

Vendors for Senior Resource Fair Wanted
The City is looking for vendors to provide helpful resources for older adults at the Senior Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 at the Diamond Bar Center.
Vendors and services requested include health and wellness, estate planning, meal services, in-home care, retirement planning, or other essential educational information. Participating
vendors will be included as part of the annual Resource List shared with local seniors.

The City issued 183 building permits and received $103,186 in permit and plan check fees in March, with activity apparently impacted by the heavy rains. The third quarter of the fiscal
year ended with 1,577 permits issued and $1,150,475 in revenues.
