Town Center Specific Plan Website Is Now Live
The website (downtown4db.com <http://www.downtown4db.com/> ) is one component of the overall community engagement strategy to encourage participation in the Specific Plan effort. The
website provides details about upcoming events, includes an FAQ page, and encourages the community to subscribe so that they receive the latest updates by email. Visitors may also
submit questions and comments while visiting the website. As the planning effort progresses, additional resource material will be posted on the website.

Tennis Lessons for the Entire Family
Calling all tennis enthusiasts! Tennis Anyone will be offering small group tennis lessons for summer 2022. Small group classes will be 2-6 students per instructor and cover a range of
skills from pee-wee beginners to advanced adults. Classes run from Tuesday to Thursday in 4-week sessions. Registration will stop the day prior to the first class so register early.
A 20% discount is available for multi-day registration. Discount is applied automatically when an individual is registered for multiple days within the same session. Register today!

Area 1 Residential & Collector Streets Rehabilitation Project
Construction of the Area 1 project began this week on June 27 and it is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2022. The project will improve 19 centerline miles of residential
and collector streets with slurry seal, chip seal, localized asphalt concrete digouts, and curb ramp improvements as determined by field conditions in Area 1.
The project will also rehabilitate Golden Springs Drive form Brea Canyon Road to Lemon Avenue with AC grind and overlay, enhance bike lanes, signing and striping, and American with Disability
Act (ADA) curb ramp improvements.

Pavement Management System Update
The City has completed the triennial update to the Pavement Management System (PMS) report. The (PMS) provides the tools to plan and schedule pavement maintenance and rehabilitation
based on existing conditions and engineering analysis. Nichols Consulting Engineers, the consultant selected to complete the update, has prepared a report with the current roadway conditions
and a 5-year roadway maintenance plan that best fits the City’s annual CIP budget.
The City will continue planning its future roadway projects based on the 7-year residential & collector street maintenance cycle and the recommendations provided in the PMS report.
