HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe_ Reported Homeless Encampments.msgThanks. That sounds like an excellent plan. We'll connect next week once the weather improves since people will likely be on the move at that time.

Subject: Reported Homeless Encampments
Team-
I’ve been receiving reports of homeless encampments at various locations throughout the City, including the end of Sunset Crossing Park (possibly railroad property), Steep Canyon (bottom
of the canyon), and Caltrans right of way (various locations). Due to the weather and muddy conditions in several of the reported encampment areas, I am suggesting that we wait until
next week to physically verify some of the hard to reach areas.
If you receive reports of encampments and they can be easily verified let me know. For the hard to reach areas I’d like to document the date of the report so we can inspect when safe
to do so.
I will ask LA CADA to outreach the park and ride lots and Sunset Crossing. Any other suggestions please let me know so I can advise the team when they are in town later this afternoon.
Thank you,
Anthony
