Home My WebLink AboutRE_ Parked Cars at City Hall.msgAll- Thank you for your efforts on the report of a homeless encampment and vehicles parked overnight. As a follow up, I’ve reached out to Suzi Mier with Muller Co/Gateway Corporate Association to make them aware of the encampment we found on City property. I also asked if they receive other reports to let us know so we could coordinate our response. Suzi acknowledged there was one previous report of a tent in Gateway, but that was resolved by Sheriff. It does not appear the vehicles are on property right now. It will be interesting to see if the vehicles turn up in our property, or one of the vacant offices in the corporate center. I spoke with Christy as an fyi. DBC is a bit different than City Hall since they lock their gates. Staff does pay attention to vehicles that are locked in. If anyone has anything to add please do so. We inspected the hill side behind City Hall this afternoon and were able to identify the location of the small fire reported last night which LACoFD and LASD responded to (see attached email). When I left last night around 7pm, the vehicles were there, and when I arrived this morning at 6am, the vehicles were in the same place.
