HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2024-33RESOLUTION NO. 2024-33 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, AMENDING CITY OF DIAMOND BAR COMPENSATION PLAN AND FRINGE BENEFITS SCHEDULE G. WHEREAS, the City Council %J the City %J Diamond Bar adopted and amended the City of Diamond Bar Compensation and Benefits Plan (hereafter, the "Plan") by adoption of Resolution No. 2024-20 for Fiscal Year 2024-25 effective June 29, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar desires to reference and include a monthly increase of $6.75 to the Technology Stipend benefit allotment for City Council Members that may be used as a reimbursement for the purchase and maintenance of personal cell phones, tablets, laptops, printers, and/or phone/internet service in order to conduct City business. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar, does hereby resolve as follows. Section 1. The Compensation and Benefits Plan Schedule G adopted by Resolution 2024-20, is hereby replaced in their entirety with the Compensation & Benefits Plan Schedule G attached hereto as Exhibit A, which shall be effective July 16, 2024. Section 2. If any part of this Resolution or its application is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the City Council intends that such invalidity will not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions or applications, and, to this end, the provisions of the Resolution are severable. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions, which shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
