Hi Ryan,
I wanted to let you know that with our current budget, we are able to finish the current remaining updates to the HMMP (adjusting items due to changes in overall impacts), as well as
attend the two City meetings.
Ryan Winkleman also let me know about the bare areas left along some of the trails without hydroseeding. I talked to Anisha about this and we concluded its best not to include these
as part of the HMMP to avoid confusion, questions, or complications to the plan. Also, simply hydroseeding these bare areas wouldn’t count on its own as true enhancement or restoration,
so it wouldn’t really add anything by including these in the plan. Since they are part of the permanent impacts, you aren’t obligated to do anything with them. I would say though, if
you do plan to have them revegetated, it would be best to use a native mix, similar to the native erosion control mix used in other areas.
