HomeMy WebLinkAboutCanyon Loop Trail Update (4)Good afternoon Danny,
Based on our site walk this afternoon, I wanted to follow up with this email.
1. Please note it is expected you have all trail closure signs out by this Monday at 12pm. (Rain or shine) This should have been done weeks ago and impacts resident safety, especially
in inclement weather.
2. There is to be no ground disturbance by shovel or equipment until the Native American monitor is on site again. Unfortunately, I believe you have been disingenuous about ground disturbance
and that must cease immediately. Please do not contact the Native American Monitor to schedule. You can coordinate through me. It is expected that the Monitor is on site this Wednesday.
3. Reports from the biologist indicate you have utilized two pieces of equipment, including the skid steer and mini excavator, in use at the same time. As you are well aware, this is
not permissible based on the mitigation.
4. DD Systems will order the benches and signs, while the City works on artwork for the signs.
5. Upon receiving and temporarily placing the gabion baskets, you will coordinate with Dick Fisher to finalize locations.
6. Keep in mind, DD Systems is responsible for requesting all City inspections based on the permits you have received.
Please note if there is any violation of the first three items above, the City will immediately shut down the project for at least that day. In addition, if there are fines and/or penalties
associated with mitigation measure violations, DD Systems will be held responsible. It is expected you adhere to the mitigation measures and respectfully adhere to the monitors and
biologists verbal direction on site.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank You,
Ryan
