Thank you for walking with us yesterday. Just as a follow up, all punch list items on List # 1 and #2 below are complete. The only items to be completed today (February 7) include:
1. Remove rebar on splash wall at gabion wall #1
2. Tie down loose gabion wall cage #9 at gabion wall #1
3. Add rocks at cage near middle of gabion wall #3
4. Support City staff by piling up the unused rocks at the staging area and raking area.

Hi Danny,
Thank you for walking the site with us today. Please see Punch List #2 (and photos to be provided by Dick Fisher later today) which is from the “T intersection” and continues to the
east towards the staging area. In addition, please see previous items below on Punch List #1 that are not complete and need attention.
As a reminder, the 60-day project deadline is this Friday, February 3, 2023 and $1,000 per day liquidated damages will begin Monday, February 6, 2023 for any incomplete work. (If you
choose to work Saturday, February 4, 2023 that would be acceptable.) The project team plans to be on site the morning of Monday, Februay 6, 2023 to evaluate the project and follow
up on punch list items. We look forward to meeting at that time to walk the trail and assess project completion.
PUNCH LIST #2
1. Remove trash and debris at “T intersection”
2. Cut V swale at “T intersection” by at least 3 inches to achieve adequate water runoff from connecting water diverter.
3. Pull back soil at a 2:1 ratio at the bend next to the oak tree.
4. Repair two timber fence brackets near the cut through path
5. Pull back soil at a 2:1 ratio across from gabion wall #2
6. Add rock at velocity reducer at the end of gabion wall #3
7. Repair ALL damaged and incomplete sections of gabion wall #3.
8. Install timber edging at the top of gabion wall #3 and clear adjacent spoils & large rocks
9. Clear tire tracks above gabion wall #3.
10. Replace bottom cage on the end of gabion wall #4.
11. Pull back soil at a 2:1 ratio across from gabion wall #4.
12. Install timber fence near gabion wall #4.
13. Remove all PVC from site, including underground PVC. Remove any cones, caution tape, or water hoses at Peak Court related to the project. Replace fence & post at Peak Court entrance.
14. All spoils and rocks should be removed from the bend just east of gabion wall #4 and trail grade should be returned to original grade.
15. All spoils and rocks should be removed from the bend just east of gabion wall #4 on the “straightaway” and trail grade should be returned to original grade.
16. Install two more water diverters east of gabion wall #4.

Hi Danny,
Please accept this first (but not only) punch list pertaining to the west end of the Canyon Loop Trail heading east to the “T” intersection at the Grand View Trail. In addition, photos
of each item are provided below as reference. Please keep in mind I provide this as a reminder based on the upcoming February 2, 2023 deadline for the project. Any unfinished work
or site clean up after that date will result in liquidated damages of $1,000 per day, yet we hope to avoid that process.
Please send me your remaining material transmittals over the weekend with photos and properly cover the dirt spoils tomorrow for potential rain over the weekend. Thank You
PUNCH LIST #1
1. Splice behind the trail diverter #2 (near oak tree)-INCOMPLETE
2. Remove rebar in large velocity reducer-INCOMPLETE
3. Add rebar to 15th step at Steps #1-INCOMPLETE
4. Remove rebar in V swale next to Steps #1-INCOMPLETE
5. Return rocks & dirt spoils to trail above Steps #1-COMPLETE
6. Achieve 5 ft width of trail above Step #1-COMPLETE WITH HYDROSEED ON FRIDAY
7. Return rocks & dirt spoils to trail above water diverter #3-INCOMPLETE. BRING LARGE ROCKS FROM SPOILS AND COMPACT SOIL ABOVE WATER DIVERTER #3.
8. Clean up and remove access filter fabric above diverter at gabion wall-INCOMPLETE
9. Rake along trail above diverter #4-COMPLETE
10. Remove dirt spoils under prickly pear cactus at the bend-INCOMPLETE
11. Pull back dirt spoils at a 2:1 ratio near prickly pear cactus-INCOMPLETE
12. Pull back dirt spoils area just west of T intersection -INCOMPLETE
13. Compact behind bench (between V swale) at T intersection INCOMPLETE. COMPACTION NEEDED
14. Bury fins at base of timber rails at T intersection-COMPLETE
15. Rake and dress spoils around large velocity reducer and very west end.-ADDED TO LIST ON 2.1.23
