HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW_ City of Diamond Bar_ CA OrderThanks for collecting this, Dick. On a side note, I confirmed we actually only 10 specific working days to complete the work due to nesting period and grant close outs. (September
18 to September 29). I will get RCP a PO late this week.

Hi Richard,
I’ve been in contact with Ryan. Answers to your questions are below in Red.
A couple of questions for you:
1. Assuming the City sends you a PO in the next couple of weeks, what is a credible order and shipping timeline to Diamond Bar, CA going to be? CA certified drawings will be sent about
1-2 weeks after we receive the PO and all the site info for engineering. Once these drawings are approved and colors selections(metal roofing and powder coat) have been made, fabrication
is taking about 12 weeks. So, maybe about 4 months from order to delivery.
2. When these (3) Mini-shelters arrive here, what will be an overall dimensional size of this material upon shipping delivery? I.E. if needed to be warehouse-stored for a brief time,
what size storage space will be required for that temporary storage? Attached is our BOM that lists out the different members and sizes. Note that this is for a quantity of 1, not
3.
Best,
Bryce Cooper

Hi Bryce:
As you may be aware, the City of Diamond Bar deleted the purchase and installation of (3) of your (2) post Gable Mini Shelters (your proposal #35241) in their Canyon Loop Trail project,
due to the limited timeline for receipt and installation prior to the-State declared nesting season for the Gnatcatcher endangered species of birds. No work at the ultimate site from
2/15 to 9/15…
So, now Diamond Bar is processing a PO to directly purchase these (3) shelters from you, and then hire another installer to place these within the trail project later this fall.
A couple of questions for you:
1. Assuming the City sends you a PO in the next couple of weeks, what is a credible order and shipping timeline to Diamond Bar, CA going to be?
2. When these (3) Mini-shelters arrive here, what will be an overall dimensional size of this material upon shipping delivery? I.E. if needed to be warehouse-stored for a brief time,
what size storage space will be required for that temporary storage?
Thanks Bryce, and we’re looking forward to adding your shelters to our improved trail project.
Best,
Dick Fisher
