Importance: High
Hi Dan,
As expected, I have the Canyon Loop Change Order #2 attached for your signature. The only slight difference from the copy you received this morning is that we removed the expected cost
of the concrete swale as that total length will be measured on site and may vary. That being said, I did include that we estimate 80 linear feet and the linear foot price. Please
let me know if you have any questions, otherwise I’d appreciate your signature to keep things moving.
Thank You,
Ryan

Hi Dan,
Hope you are enjoying the holidays with the family. I just wanted to give you a heads up before you receive a potential change order for your signature. Based on feedback from Fish
and Wildlife and our consultants, the landscape architect worked with his engineers to address addition, proactive improvements along the trail to provide enhanced water erosion measures
and slope stabilization. Realizing this is an important element to the long-term viability of the project and community interest, we felt it was best to consider enhancements during
this project. It was quite beneficial after the last rain storm to walk the site and make on-site assessment based on natural occurrences.
Therefore, the attached change order has been provided to the contractor for review and potential signature. The amount ($48k) would be the second expense to the overall contingency
($101k). The first expense was just under $10k for Native American Monitoring and the first CO was deductive as the shade structures were removed. This amount would be well under the
contingency threshold and viable for your approval.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank You,
