Thank you Joan for your response. This is public information. The only thing that is exempt is their personal information. Which is their name and phone number and/or personal information.
All I need is property address and violation. For example, overgrown grass, structural issues.

Afternoon Ms. Trejo. Because the records you seek have the potential for criminal enforcement they are exempt under Government Code section 6254(f). One exception in the Public Records
Act to this exemption are copies of notices of violation in which the violation is of such significance it would render the building or dwelling untenantable, as that term is defined
in Civil Code section 1941.1. We are reviewing our records to determine if any such records are responsive to your request.

Thank you for your response. I have researched and according to the California Public Records Act § 6250 et seq., is meant to guarantee that the public has access to public records
of governmental bodies. Anyone can request public documents in California, and a purpose does not need to be stated. I have the right to make this request. I am requesting an opportunity
to obtain copies of public records of all open code violations for the past year. I would like any and all active violations such as tall grass, fire damage, property structure issues,
and other violations that keep and will keep the violations open.
If my inquiry is not met I will type up a FOIA request which allows 10 days for your office to comply with my request. This is my public informationI. I deserve to know. If my request
is not met I will have to file a FOIA Act, Freedom of Information Act to get it. Thank you.
